U3A Mackay is partnering with Wrap With Love, a charity run entirely by volunteers, that supplies wraps and quilts for distribution to needy people and those suffering the effects of cold and trauma in Australia and worldwide.
Our Task: Knit or crochet 25cm squares, to be sent to Wrap With Love, for stitching together.

Together with Home Assist/St Vincent de Paul, the Government is providing the supply & installation for up to 3 smoke alarms per household.

Applies to homeowners only.

To access the funding, you must be willing to comply to the number of alarms required

Additional alarms will be supplied & fitted at a cost to the client of $150 per alarm.

Clients must be registered with Home Assist.
